March 12, 2023 - INSCRIPTIONS FROM THE HEART
By Cheryl Zamora
IFH: March 12, 2023
A busy schedule was not foreign to Jesus. But somehow He was never in a hurry. He was never flustered nor in panic mode. Jesus stayed as long as He can when people invited him over to come to their homes or have meals. He taught big crowds. He attended to His closest followers. But frequently He would come way by Himself to lonely places, at times staying all night to pray. No wonder He could say, there's nothing He says or does that did not come from our Heavenly Father.
Every person in our church family who supports our vision and mission will do well to imitate Jesus' way- that is, constant communion, calling and crying out to the Lord our God in prayer
God is working in our midst. But we need to take action. Every day, let us set aside half an hour to meet with God. Read Scripture for 15 minutes or more.
Spend another 15 minutes (or more) praying for your family, love ones, relatives, friends, our church, our city and countries (Philippines and Canada). Let us ask the Lord how we can be actively involved in what God is doing in our midst. Gather your friends in a small group prayer. You can even pray within your own family or household. Go further still and mark the 3rd Wednesday of the month to join us in our Night of Worship and Prayer (fyl, this month coming up this Wednesday March 15 7PM).
Let us PRAY, so that when all is said and done, we give all credit to the Lord, not ourselves, but to the Lord and only the Lord alone!
