A NEW BEGINNING. A WILL TO SERVE A LIVING GOD.   

Today is the first Sunday for the new year 2025. We always look to fresh beginnings; a new year to cherish with a lot of hope, expectations and anticipation. We reflect on what we did good last year as a parent, as an employer, as an employee, as a member of our church and as a volunteer in a ministry or committee. We cannot also forget to think of our mistakes and struggles for they intertwined with our experiences and successes. Reflecting on these areas can go a long way in helping us to grow and develop better ways and plans to achieve our desires in life. 

In every new beginning, we start to set priorities in each aspect of our personal and spiritual lives by perhaps asking ourselves with these two questions: 

• Who am I in this world that we live in? 

• What am I doing as a steward of God’s goodness in my life in the areas of my time, my skills and abilities and my financial resources? 

My prayer is to see every member make the move and be willing to be part of any church committee or ministry. Let us all be part of the team as players with good intention to give the best. Our God is our leading coach. Our pastors and our leaders can be our coordinators. 

I am sure that with His guidance for every leader and every member, we will do our share with great enthusiasm and perseverance to serve without reservations. May you all enjoy the bountiful blessings God gives us on every new day.
