January 29, 2023 - INSCRIPTIONS FROM THE HEART

Remember…He is with you!

This month was a milestone for me in my life. I am emotionally driven every year in the month of January. Because it was in the month of January that I left my home in India and came to a foreign land to pursue my studies. The reason this year was extra special to me was the fact that it was 10 years since I left home.

The journey was not easy at the start. I had to battle a lot of things. The impact of these challenges was so severe that it changed my whole personality.

Before I came to Canada when I was praying God gave me a promise. It is from Isaiah 49:15 which says “Can a woman forget her nursing child and have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you.” This promise came to life amid everything that I was facing.

In all those challenges I have seen the hand of God delivered me. He set me on a level ground. Whenever I felt defeated, He had levelled the playing field for me and led me to a place where my relationship grew deeper with Him.

“Gracious is the LORD, and righteous;

Yes, our God is compassionate.

The LORD preserves the simple;

I was brought low, and He saved me.

Return to your rest, O my soul,

For the LORD has dealt bountifully with you.”

Psalms 116:5-7.
