CEAC's 35th Anniversary 

We will proclaim your praise from generation to generation 

Psalms 79:13 (NIV)  13 Then we your people, the sheep of your pasture, will praise you forever; from generation to generation we will proclaim your praise. 

Praise the LORD for the 35 years of the life and ministry of the church. All that we were, all that we are and all that we ever pray and hope to be, we owe it all HIM and it is only to HIM that we give all glory and praise. We will forever declare His praise from generation to generation.  

Looking back on a hindsight in the last 35 years, we cannot help but praise the Name of the Lord. We praise the Lord for all the pastors, leaders and the brethren who have generously invested their time, talents and treasures for the church.  From the inception of the church to the purchase of the church building and for the many lives that were transformed by the power of the message of the Gospel, the development of ministry leaders, missionaries and pastors and the growth of the church with all its ministries, from then and now and the future. By God's grace, our prayer is that, may God continually find us faithful in His calling for us a church family.  

The Alliance founder, A.B. Simpson, strongly pointed out our hallmarks as a denomination, where we are to be known for, it's our emphasis on the deeper life and mission. This is clearly reflected in our Vision Statement, LIVING FOR CHRIST. IMPACTING LIVES.  Living for Christ is essential and of primary importance in living a missional life in and through the life and ministry of the church and through our various life and work contexts here in our city, across Canada and across the globe.  

The generations then has invested so much of their time, talents and treasures so that what we now see, with the present generation of leaders and members, are the fruits of their life and ministry which have impacted where CEAC is today.  

It is our humble prayer that the present generation of leaders and members will carry on the passion of living for Christ (deeper life) and impacting lives (mission) so that the next generation will be better equipped and be prepared to continue and pursue God's calling  for us as a church family. We see so much potential with our "now," "young" and "growing" generation that we should focus on how we can prudently invest in them so that we can continue to prayerfully, reflectively and proactively be engaged with our vision, mission, ministry plans and targets.  

The past, the present and the future of CEAC is all in the hands of our loving and faithful God. Let us continually declare His praise from generation to generation. All the glory belongs to Him only. May we continue to live for Him only and may we continue to impact lives for Him only.
