July 30, 2023 - INSCRIPTIONS FROM THE HEART

I long and pray to see more CEACers worshipping God and participating in the Great Commission be it in Edmonton and around the world.

I affirm God’s call in everyone’s lives. And in the past we have commissioned members from our church who obeyed His call to serve our Master and take His cause to the regions beyond. Their godly examples are to be emulated by everyone and their steps we should follow, for God’s Kingdom advance.

As several of our church members have hopped on airplanes many years ago and went to several places in the world to share the Gospel message, we must be willing to do the same even when it’s just hopping on a bus or the train to take us to the other side of our city and share the same. Why must we bother reaching out and winning people to Christ locally when there are more unsaved folks overseas? The answer is plain and simple. At CEAC, we say we are a “glocal” church. That is, we think and minister locally and globally simultaneously.

I pray that our hearts beat for the Lord so we bring people to the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, nurture and care for them. I believe a church’s health is measured not so much by its seating capacity, but by its sending capacity. Pray that we may continue to develop and send workers in Edmonton and to the far corners of the world, the unreached peoples’ groups. Only by His grace and so help us God!
